The Week of Peat 14 years

The second edition, The Balvenie Peat Week Aged 14 Years, features Malt Master David Stewart MBE and former Distillery Manager Ian Miller, who spent a week experimenting with peat in the barley drying process and has been producing small batches of peated whisky since 2002. The result is a classic The Balvenie with rich honey, vanilla, and citrus notes, encompassed by a gentle smokiness.

"The Stories" tell the stories behind the scenes at The Balvenie. Stories about the creators and their experiments—in roasting the barley, charring the casks, and cask management.
