Customs Declarations
For export purposes, our company declares exclusively the true and correct value of the goods, as stated on the invoice. We do not accept requests to undervalue shipments, as this would constitute false declarations and violations of applicable customs and tax regulations.
Quality control and responsibility for the contents of cigar boxes
Intertabak, the official distributor of Habanos S.A., checks the quality of all boxes imported from Cuba, inserts a control label, and reseals them with its “Swiss Quality Control” seal.
To meet the high demand from our customers for boxes with the Intertabak seal intact, boxes purchased on our website will now be shipped at the listed price without the seal being broken.
Upon purchase, the customer assumes full responsibility for the contents of the box, relieving Siglomundo of any responsibility if one or more damaged cigars are found upon opening.
For an additional level of control and guarantee from Siglomundo, customers can select the SGM Quality Control service for each product purchased, which provides for an additional check of the contents by us: the SQC seal applied by Intertabak is then broken, the box and its entire contents are photographed, and the cigars are checked individually.
They are then wrapped in plastic film, the box is resealed with protective film, and a Boveda system is inserted to maintain optimal humidity.
The cost of the inspection and repackaging service is optional and amounts to CHF 2.00 per product.
