The Rafael González Perlas is a true Cuban beauty.
Named after its vitola, it measures 120mm in length with a 40 ring gauge and provides you with 20-30 minutes of authentic smoking pleasure. It’s a perfect daytime or aperitif smoke for both experienced aficionados and cigar beginners.
The Perlas is a light-bodied smoke that reveals rich and distinctive flavors of creamy coffee and nut. Additional flavors of coffee, chocolate and a dash of floral enrich the aromatic bouquet in the second third. While the finish is long, with vanilla and some floral aftertaste.

The Rafael González’s brand was created in the 1930’s originally under the name of Lonsdale, after Lord Lonsdale. On its lid label each box carries a curious inscription written in English to the effect that the cigars should be smoked within one month of the date of shipment from Havana or otherwise they should be carefully matured for about one year. All sizes are made with filler and binder leaves coming from the premium Vuelta Abajo region and it is characterized by a light strength. Rafael González vitolas are made “Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga” – Totally Handmade with Long Filler and just one, the Rafael González Perlas, is made with short filler technique.
