Original Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Blanton's Original Single Barrel is a single barrel bottled at 46.5% ABV, stored in the famous Warehouse H. The Original is a smooth bourbon with notes of oak and citrus. A creamy vanilla with caramel underpins aromas of clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon. It is best served neat or on the rocks. Blanton's was the first bourbon producer to commercially release single barrel bottlings. Until 1984, it was uncommon to bottle single barrel bourbons, and as a result, Blanton's was initially ridiculed. It wasn't until its worldwide success thanks to its high quality standards that other distilleries began producing single barrel bourbon. But even today, Blanton's remains the benchmark for single barrel bourbon.
