MADURO 5 SECRETOS
The Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos is the smallest of the Maduro range, measuring 100mm in length with a 40 ring gauge. This range was introduced in 2007 and is named after the dark Maduro leaf used for the wrapper. This leaf grows at the very top of shade grown plants, requiring additional ageing and fermentation processes over the course of 5 years to reach the color dark enough to be classified as Maduro.
The result is a medium to full aromatic profile with a sweet, yet intense, aroma.
Aromas of cedar and coffee bean are present from the firs puffs, while intense flavors of creamy chocolate, dark red fruits, coffee, almond and a touch of spice reveal themselves during the smoke.

Cohiba is the most prestigious brand in the tobacco world. The name “Cohiba” is an old word used by the Taíno Indians, original inhabitants of the Island, to define the rolled tobacco leaves that these Indians smoked. Cohiba is for hence the first name of tobacco. Cohiba is the only Habanos brand in which two of the three types of leaves used to make it, dry and light, undergo additional fermentation. This special treatment gives Cohiba an unmistakable aroma and flavor, which cannot be found in any other brand.
