Classic Toro

Griffin's Classic is one of the best-known brands from the Dominican Republic. Very mild in flavour and recommended as an entry-level cigar, it is made up of three different types of tobacco and has a typical Connecticut wrapper. The Classic offers mild cigars with very fine and balanced flavours. All formats in this series are characterised by a typical herbal taste with slightly creamy-sweet aromas. The filler tobaccos come entirely from the Dominican Republic, are held together by a wrapper from Peru and finally encased in a wrapper from Ecuador. The mild characteristics of this cigar make it ideal for tasting with lighter, sweeter rums or milder whiskies.

When unlit, the cigar exudes a slight bitterness on the lips, which is combined with subtle flavours of earth and wood. After lighting up, this changes to floral and herbal, moist notes. In the second and third third, the Gran Robusto develops increasing complexity and harmony. This vitola is the perfect introduction to the premium segment for mild cigars, both for beginners and advanced smokers.
