Don Papa Baroko: this word in the Tagalog language (Philippine Islands) means "exuberant" and
highlights the continuity of the full and original taste of Don Papa.
The distillate is obtained from black gold molasses of Noble sugar cane,
grown on the lava lands on the slopes of the Kanlaon volcano on the island of Negros, in the center of the Philippine archipelago, not surprisingly named Sugarlandia.
Don Papa Baroko is aged in high-toasted American oak barrels that have contained Bourbon Whiskey.
Dark amber in color with bright reflections, it explodes on the nose with notes of citrus and vanilla.
In the mouth the body is full with notes of ripe tropical fruit, candied fruit and honey, with a long and deep finish, with notes of raisins and hints of vanilla.
Thanks to the particular hot-humid tropical climate, Don Papa is subjected to an alcoholic evaporation of 8-10%, four times greater than that of Scotch Whisky,
a characteristic that gives it a particularly intense and rounded taste.
